The aviation industry is anticipating a dramatic shortage of professional pilots over the next decade, making it an ideal time to enroll in career flight training programs.

Central Oregon Community College (COCC) offers a two year Associate of Applied Science Degree in Aviation Science. For students desiring a four-year degree, COCC offers an articulation agreement with the Oregon Institute of Technology (OIT) as well as a relationship with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

There's no better time to get your aviation career started than today. Our COCC undergraduates receive:

  • Associate Degree of Applied Science in Aviation
  • Private Pilot Certificate
  • Instrument Rating
  • Commercial Pilot Rating
  • Instrument Pilot Rating
  • Certified Flight Instructor Rating (CFI)
  • Certified Flight Instructor Instrument Rating (CFII)

Aviation classes are available each term. For more information about programs, costs, and class schedules, contact John Miller, COCC's Aviation Program Coordinator for the Bend Campus at (541) 317-3736, or email him at jomiller@cocc.edu.  Check out the COCC's Aviation Program website at: http://aviation.cocc.edu
